    It's a horrible job!

I am surprised what I find among the sludge, tho.

Just send a nice, polite email stating the date you ordered and ask if there's an ETA. It would be nice if they were more proactive, but sometimes people get too tied up and forget the little things.

anyone fabbed their own bedside support bracket and mud flap holders?

    IMG_5124.jpg IMG_5125.jpg

was thinking of trying from hardware store shelf mount brackets, hinges to fold over and hold the flaps, and retainer pins to make it quick release for cleaning

Heard of welding tube onto frame but seems excessive for flaps instead of making use of factory open bolt holes

I made some out of some 1x 1/8 or 3/16 flat bar. No flaps yet but that’s one of the next projects.

ATHfab has a bedside support bracket
Looks like it might fit your truck
Not sure if pressure is fine, or better is drilling a hole to bolt it to the fender

wouldn’t fit my WarFab, fender cut is at the bottom tail light line

now that I look at your pic
Assuming the plastic is strong enough

those two bolt holes (or making more) look like they could be used to hold two flat bar brackets. One on each side.
Front one for bedside support, and on the backside for mudflaps

I need to make a piece that runs up the inside here. I think I'm using 1" square tube. There are 2 angles that I'll need to cut.

Anyone have any tips on how to calculate these bends.I know the compound cut formula but I'm hoping someone has a better way.

Rat Rods from Africa (good youtube series btw) uses PlAD-plywood aided design. He uses thin plywood as it doesn't bend then can use as a guide for his plasma.

So after 7 months, I am certain that it is NOT the welding machine making the noise .

When welding on AC, the garage door opener goes haywire requiring a reset, so I have been unplugging it when I weld and I haven’t heard the beep since.

High frequency, it disturbs other electronics

    Completely normal

We could've told you that but you said the noise came from the machine so...

I swear it sounded like it was coming from the direction of the machine lol. At least I know for sure now
