    Morning all :pccoffee:

Seems I was 400+ post behind, sheesh :bananadead:

As expected I was trying to sleep Friday night early (like usual) to wake up at 3:30am for work and suddenly my window started rattling from the bass of loud music... :annoyed:

Another little funny incident with one of those idjit's. I always check traffic conditions before leaving work. Saw they were doing road construction again and had one lane of the road close off. Go around the rotary to the almost final long stretch of road before getting home. Notice this gray Altima looking thing driving like a dingleberry and then pass a van (which the van was fed up with the guys shenanigans and was making him earn that pass by flooring it  ). I laughed as I knew we would all get stuck in construction. I could tell that guy is doing roughly 70 in a 45 beforehand. Sure enough as expected a couple miles later we're all stopped. I noticed the car looked familiar. Gray Infinity with a paper tag on the back window. Hmmm I know that car. We all go and I can tell he's getting agitated in the long line of "traffic". He turns off on a road that connects to ours and I know a quicker way. I turn off and get to my house and as I get out to the mailbox and grab my mail there goes Infinity guy and would you know he turns into the driveway next door. Just solidifies these people are definitely not from here... City folk infiltrating the countryside :angrygirl::

The 6” x 6” are my main post, the 4” x 4” are just support. I don’t want it to feel spongy. I hope it all works out like it should :anonymous:

I'm glad the original builder of my house overbuilt things. 2x10 floor joist, 2x12 main beams, and my floor is 2" thick!

Literally the only thing saving me from the insect damage. Thought I had it licked, but I think they've gained access on the other corner of the house. The floor in the master is oddly creaky. Not sure if it's the hot water radiators drying out the wood and the nails popping, or termites have made an entry through the basement door. :annoyed:

    No likey.
Guy that bought the Pure sign says it sure is a long way out here.:rofl:. My biggest problem out here is we're on a great motorcycle route. The problem comes from the morons trying to race and doing wheelies :bikewheelie::bikewheelie2:. Ya know I ride but I never spent 45 minutes just going back and forth. It's that time of year again, State troopers and ambulances. We know someone wrecked on the mountain when we hear and see fire rescue then the trooper. Riding beyond their capabilities.

Depending on the span a few center supports will be appreciated later. Especially if you add a roof or a Carolina room later.
