Looks a lot like the slabs of white oak I have from milling 25 years ago. Requires chainsaw to cut now. Hard and dry!

That's a horrible idea. What time?
I have some white oak that looks like that.

Well it’s 100% white oak. I can tell that by smell alone as it smells exactly like my primary calorie source Makers Mark!

Final pour complete. Sealing the bottom tomorrow

Aside from a couple small blemishes, the top is damn near smooth as glass

Bw s256 turbo with 3 in glass pack dumped pre axle raptor liner bed and top rails and fenderflares and rocker panels. Hunter side steps. Plasti-dipped upper fenders and emblems. satin black spray paint here and there inside and out. 5100's set to 1.75" up front . C channel front bumper. Maxxis bighorn 255/85/16
Had some leftover 2x6s from the shed/detached garage build and my wife wanted a new entertainment center... I had just enough screws and we had leftover paint from redoing the bathroom and leftover stain from... When I upsized our bed from queen to king maybe??? And poly from days gone by when lumber was cheap and I could make farm houses furniture on the side and it was profitable. At any rate, I didn't have to buy anything, so I'm happy

Made a few push sticks out of some scrap 3/4 plywood since my current ones are almost dead. Super quick and easy on the bandsaw.

I don't know if I mentioned it or not but I'm out of commission for awhile. Threw my back out. So the workbench project is on hold for awhile and that really bums me out. Sitting I'm OK, standing and walking is not good.

Sorry to hear you are not currently able to work in your shop. Hope you recover quickly, finish that workbench, then put it to use.

I am working on little things while contemplating / planning my next big project. I am thinking console table, mid century modern style to replace my old, oversized, and outdated media stand.
