Hey folks. I put an almost 2 inch lift and figured I'd try Firestone even though they have bad ratings. Everything feels fine but caster is way out of the spec on the print out. They didn't mention it so I didn't even look until I got home. Is this anything to be concerned about? What little I've read says its not really tied to wear. Caster being off won't cause tire wear, but it'll cause your steering to be squirrely and that can become dangerous all the same.

Looks like lazy ol' Firestone did a toe slap and nothing else. Do you have aftermarket upper control arms (UCAs)? Usually when you start lifting you lose caster and aftermarket UCAs help get that back. Might be something to look into. Good luck.

Wi_Taco is correct, the low caster wouldn't harm your tires but will give you an obscenely "loose" feeling in your steering. Most likely you should get upper control arms with a corrected angle and tell them you'd like closer to 3*-3.5* caster

Thanks.. Ya, they only adjusted toe and the rest still has the marks where I put them. I still have factory UCA's. I lifted 1.6 inches.. So factory UCA's probably arent capable of being in spec? or should I try another shop

Most likely they looked at your lift & knew they couldn't get more caster out of your current setup, with your stock UCAs, and left it alone. Or, maybe they tried to get more caster & just couldn't get it.

I have about a 2.5" lift (front & rear) on my 2014 Access Cab, achieved w/ Fox 2.5 Perf Elites (all 4 corners) + Deaver springs in back. As part of that package (assembled & valved for me by Accutune,) they also included aftermarket Accutune UCAs, specifically to be able to obtain more caster.

I recently got an alignment done at a local shop and am satisfied with how the truck handles with these numbers:
