Ahhhh... Am I hearing that you do the work? I am hoping to get a kit that I make work on my time. Understand if that is the way of it, but not the DIY I usually get into.

 

I don't believe it's 5K and up, so much as it's just 5K. If you go much higher, you start getting a blue tint.

Yeah. Thats why I didn’t like the 6500. Way too blue and also you see every spec of dust

 

I mean I can do the work. But don’t have to. The kit it’s self is the 10-12 price. That’s everything to make the steering work. But not to move radiator etc.

Google was correct. Yesterday he thought 4000k was daylight.

 

The cure for that is to go find a trail and "send it."

I'm always willing to admit when I'm wrong.

I was thinking of neutral white, which apparently is between 4000-5500K, depending where you look.

 

I must've missed it among all your comments trying to discredit everything I said.

 

I was just passing along what I see at work. And, then I corrected myself when I realized that I was wrong. If you think I'm being argumentative, I apologize. But, we never use 6500K anywhere at work, so it seemed odd to me.

I thought I was trying to be helpful. I guess it came out wrong.

 

5000K vs 6500K

For areas like retail shops, offices, and parking lots, brightness is a key factor, but the extreme intensity of 6500K is not required or desired, making 5000K often the preferred choice.
