Ahhhh... Am I hearing that you do the work? I am hoping to get a kit that I make work on my time. Understand if that is the way of it, but not the DIY I usually get into.

I don't believe it's 5K and up, so much as it's just 5K. If you go much higher, you start getting a blue tint.

Won’t need home assistant when everything works natively with a common protocol

I ran home bridge for a while, basically same idea. It’s just an API bridge

I mean I can do the work. But don’t have to. The kit it’s self is the 10-12 price. That’s everything to make the steering work. But not to move radiator etc.

The cure for that is to go find a trail and "send it."

And then I corrected myself. Or, did you miss that?

I'm always willing to admit when I'm wrong.

I was thinking of neutral white, which apparently is between 4000-5500K, depending where you look.

I was just passing along what I see at work. And, then I corrected myself when I realized that I was wrong. If you think I'm being argumentative, I apologize. But, we never use 6500K anywhere at work, so it seemed odd to me.

I thought I was trying to be helpful. I guess it came out wrong.

    5000K vs 6500K
Comparing 5000K with 6500K, both in the cooler spectrum, the latter is brighter with a more pronounced blue tint.

While 5000K is akin to daylight, 6500K is more like looking directly at the blue sky. It is often chosen for settings that need high levels of brightness and clarity, such as hospitals and sterile environments.

For areas like retail shops, offices, and parking lots, brightness is a key factor, but the extreme intensity of 6500K is not required or desired, making 5000K often the preferred choice.
