This might be something that was answered however i tried to find and couldn't, if you know link please let me know.

My question is I bought icons Coil over extended travel, with new icon UCA, but no one mentioned anything about cv's do you need to upgrade those as well, or is travel for extended is not that significant that oem cv will still work?

2016 tacoma trd offroad auto is my truck.

PS: I also removed sway bar, as this truck is offroad only.

    Thanks.

Oem axles. IMO keeping lift around 2” keeping cv’s in a happy spot. If you wheel hard maybe limit straps :notsure:

Random stuff. Oh! and converted to non ADD 4x4.
Cv damage comes at the angles you get at 3” lift. As you can tell almost no droop even with the “extended” portion. And if you’re doing only off-road then you should be looking into king or fox 2.5” + bypass and long travel lca and extended shafts/rcv’s. Cheers

What kinda offroading we talking about here?
They're all the same. He's referring to long travel suspension. You are still stock width.

OEM axles have enough travel. If the inboard boot fins are touching (which would shorten boot life), just do the boot slide mod. Takes 15 minutes in the driveway with two hose clamps.
