Buddy has a tank for these things as he raises them to feed to his other fish

Says they breed often so he's got a never-ending supply of live food; two of them actually have eggs on them already

Anyone know if you can buy this plastic piece separate from a full latch? It’s like the tailgate latch retainer bushing thing?

So leaving my apartment at lunch there was a tiny cat at my door who tried running in the door when I left. After work she was on the little roof above the stairs. After knocking on my neighbor's doors none of them claimed her...

So now I have a little cat cruising my apartment for the night..

I don't want a cat, but damnit she's cute and very friendly with me. Wasn't very friendly with the neighbors but me she's cool with and so far Venice has been super gentle, not getting too close. Hopefully it's just for the night.

Venice doesn't give a shit about the cat. Damn dog is just too damn chill about life.

 

She was around cats often enough and from a young age, she's not phased. Just a good dog

 

Greased the driveshaft, the grease that came out looked like tar…
UJoints had zero play in them which was nice to see, replaced the carrier bearing which was absolutely shot..

Noticed there’s quite a bit of slop between the driveshaft and rear diff, maybe 1/8 to 1/4” inch of spin. That’d be the clunk I’ve been feeling when getting off the gas in gear I’m sure.

 

That's pretty typical, between the spiders, the ring and pinion, and the splines to the shafts... It's about normal.

 

What would you value a 09 4x4 Tacoma with a blown up 2trfe and r150 manual transmission that is otherwise in good condition

 

I just remembered I have a good working 1uz in my moms garage

 

$1,500 depending on condition of the body and interior.
