Decided to power the free sprayer I got last fall, and keep it for a bit. While figuring how I would wire it, and to what (tractor or zt), I had a mini brain wave.

I've had Rigid cordless tools for years and have a collection of surplus chargers, so...

I opened up a small one, cut the cord off where I could fix if necessary and soldered onto the + and - terminals. I'll also use this for bench DC power when I need it.

I found a chunk of steel that I think was a stacking kit for our washer dryer that is now over 15 yrs old. I'm not a thrower outer. :rofl:I whittled a bracket that mounts to the pump motor hardware and added a strap to soak up vibration. The bracket is at the powder coater hanging to dry after I rattle canned it. It might even work...;)

I like it - especially the economical part!! :101010:

The only thing more satisfying than fixing something you got for free is fixing it for free. :fistbump:

@six5crèéd what makes us uncomfortable can help us grow, having the conversation about the the unknowns and what ifs help.
But some long thoughts will help

That’s going to be aggravating to move to @six5crèéd ’s new deck since it’s already together…

I agree with almost all of the advice given. But I do think it is worth listening to what the two jobs have to offer you. The only thing that will cost you is time. You have always demonstrated great respect for yourself, your family and the "friends" in this thread so I am sure your "interview" would be done with respect also. You never know what the opportunity might offer unless you hear what they have to say. If it doesn't feel right you do not have to say yes.

Couple things, Rusty seems like he has a highly accurate and calibrated bullshat meter, I bet he can smell it getting off the bus from a mile away. That's a good quality to have.

I may talk to both of them just to see. The guy who owns the pallet company, I will see him Saturday at ball practice. I don't think I'll bring it up, I'll see if he was seriously serious and see what he says :D
