When I was checking out items under the hood not sure what these 2 items are? Electrical connection plugged in behind the front Toyota logo and the unused connection near drivers side headlight? Thanks in advance

Welcome aboard!

I’m guessing that is a fog light harness. I believe all 3rd gen Tacomas are prewired for fog lights, regardless of trim level.
