Shop Time w/T.W. Friends

Well it was in Asheville, guess that's why I don't go there much unless it's in and out. Biltmore estate is all back roads in and out.
Went to moms back roads. Told Malli. going to Grandma's over the mountain and through the woods we go.

 

I paid $3.18 Monday and was sad.

 

I jealous..
I have to pay $7 a gallon tomorrow.

So you know how sometimes, you pay no attention when you are doing something and come to find out you were doing it wrong ten years later?
Yeah.
When I moved down to SC five years ago, a buddy gave me a real neon wall clock for my shop. Very nice. It was a Miller Lite clock, which is the beer I drink if I want a beer. Anyway, the neon was a circle of light blue and a circle of white.
Well, my shop gets an incredible amount of bugs when I leave the doors open. Just thought SC had a lot more bugs than WV and didn't give it a second thought. Took my wife out for a bite to eat tonight and when we came in, I looked at the clock and immediately unplugged it. Then I smacked myself for being stupid. In the past two hours, I have had maybe 3-4 bugs fly in. Not bad at all.
You see, I remembered that bugs like blue light! They hate yellow and orange light!
Now, how did I not remember that for five long years? Anyone? Bueller?
My GRANDMA had yellow coated porch bulbs and she taught me that many times. I guess I finally lived up to my father's nickname for me tonight. It was "Dumbass."

Road trip done. Washer installed, leak checked, and one test load washed and in the dryer. As well as packing the lunches for tomorrow, told the wife thanks for helping.. I'm in the dog house now

I enjoyed the discussion on changing jobs over the past couple days. I, too, am also considering changing jobs. Nearly 8 years at my current place, out of the 30 I planned to do and they are going to lose me. They won't pay me what I need to live and pay bills. And the straw that broke the camel's back was a write up over another coworker lying about a situation I was involved in. And they wouldn't even consider hearing my side of the story.

So, anyone know of any place hiring in northeast central OH paying $70k plus a year?
