    I’m on my 3rd Tacoma.

First was a black 2001 SR5 limited 4x4 Double cab. Bought with 16000 miles. Sold in 2014 w/ about 160k miles.

2nd was a 2012 Magnetic Gray DBLCB TRD Sport pre-runner 2WD (wife argued about the need for 4WD) you know the whole - ask why you need something, give explanation and still not listen lol.

that leads to the recent sale of the 2nd gen. Partly sparked by the aha moment my wife looked at me defeated as we lugged snowboard gear up a 1/4 mile snowy mountain road at midnight. “Maybe it’s time you buy the truck you really wanted”

3 generation's later and in March I purchased a 2020 super clean Cement Gray TRD sport 4WD w/ 35k on the odometer.

    - it was pretty much stock except for added K&N air filter, and done led lighting upgrades.

Since Purchase I have put the wheels, tires, lift, and sound system I’ve been planning in my head for years as well as some slider/running boards.

I was told I have to dial it back for a while, but I have a few more things on the list.

Here she is, just how I pictured her, and one of how I got her.

Dudes can make a simple mistake (over really nothing) and will never hear the end of it.

Wives/girlfriends never admit they are wrong. They change their mind, but not because they’re wrong. They just feel different today, and you better deal with it…and that’s the end of the discussion :smack:

Yes, they are, and they are supposed to be like that. I was unsure exactly how it would look when I bought them, but I like the look after installing them.

I am really digging it, it handles well and feels good on the road and few trails I have been on. Also enjoying a few of the creature comforts that were updated. I do need bigger cup holders though. lol.
