Installed oem pro tail light and wondering if they are lighting properly.

With lights on, both top and bottom of the tail light are on.

With blinker/hazard, the top portion of the tail light is on.

With brakes depressed, the bottom portion of the tail light is on.

When braking, I thought both the top and bottom portion of the tail light should be on. I swapped out bulbs and there was no change. Do I have a wiring issue or is it working properly? Thanks.

That is how stock is. You can get the brake lights to light up both halves if you get a tail light conversion from VLEDS or Meso. I recommend VLEDS if going that route, which is what I have and like. I run incandescents for my brake bulbs and it’s still very bright simply from being 4 bulbs.
