I’ve got a 6 outlet box in my truck bed. It’s got an 8ga cable running from the battery to the bed. Fused at the battery side of things. Use it to power my fridge, water pump, USB stuff, etc.

I need to put in new LED strip lights in the bed’s canopy. Can I power these by tapping into the outlet box?

Here is how the box is wired. I used 14ga wire between the various outlets. The LED lights have an inline fuse as in photo.

Can someone smarter than me explain if/how I can safely tap into this?

Might help to specify what outlet box you have? Assuming it's one of the usual switch panels it should be pick an empty spot with an appropriate fuse connect positive and negetive done
