New member here. I purchased a new V6 access cab Prerunner in '99 and drove it for 12 years before succumbing to the temptations of an old BMW M3. Great truck. Now I find myself needing more practical transportation again so the beemer is for sale and I am in the process of buying another truck. It had to be a Toyota and I wanted a single cab for the shorter wheelbase but of course they are no longer made. I did find and am buying a very low milage 2014 base model reg cab with a 4 banger and auto trans. No ball of fire but it will do the job. One thing I don't like is the ugly little steel wheels and punk tires. I'd like to add 245/75-16 tires as used on the 4wd models but despite much searching haven't been able to determine with certainty if they will fit. I don't plan to lift it and know I'll need to regear it to keep that little motor happy and am prepared to do that. There's lots of info about what fits the 6 lug trucks but very little pertaining to the 5 lugs. If anyone knows the answer I love to hear from you.

I drove BMWs exclusively for almost two decades. A 2014 Tacoma is no M3 off the line, but you can put a lot more stuff and people in the Tacoma
