    Shackles flipped, longer shocks installed, bigger badder racks installed, smooth sailing so far!

    Just bought this 2008 regular cab. 97,000 miles on it. Thinking about bigger tires because the little tires look kinda funny to me. Not anything too crazy. Just want to make a it look a bit more rugged.

    A little update on some projects/repairs.

    She got a paint job. Nothing special. Rust-Oleum hunter green thinned and sprayed from an HVLP gun

    An upgrade to the winch mount. Took a brush guard from an 02 Silverado, chopped it down and welded it to my winch mount. Plus the 9 inch LED lights. Brighter than a thousand suns.

    New wheels and tires. Wheels are Jegs Baja 8's in 15x10 and tires are Forceum MT 08's in 235/75r15

    No lift yet
    Wheels: KMC KM522 Enduro Black 15x7
    Tires: BFG KO2 235/75/R15
    I bought wheels and tires from TireRack.com. They arrived already mounted with the TPMS sensors.

    I painted all the trim (still need to do door handles) with SEM Trim Black spraypaint, and additionally, I painted over a lot of the interior gray trim with the same trim black paint, as can be seen in the photo with the access cab door.

    I am completely brand new to working on cars/trucks in any capacity, so please let me know if anyone has suggestions! This forum has been super helpful so far!

    Lol thanks! The trans is a an a340f out of a tundra and a tcase from a 96 4runner. It's got a twin stick so I can do 2wd low. Axles are a 78 f150 dana 44 hp and a ford 9"
