Said f it after much delay and took the windshield cowl off. It’s been fading for some time and I’ve wanted to remove it to give it a good clean and coat (better access and to clean any junk from the tray). Surprised the tray was clean of debris but a bit dusty. Cowl was easier to remove than previous posts to the contrary- a bit of a fight w/ the center clips but I was also trying not to break these as others suggested they were so fragile.

I had a foam strip separate from the cowl when removed (stuck under the windshield lip). Didn’t see it mentioned from anyone but I bet it’s the reason so many people complain about leaking after getting the windshield replaced. It’s a strip of foam and rubber edge that clips onto the cowl on the passenger side right above the in cabin vent. I can see how that piece obviously can detach from the cowl and get discarded with the old windshield and now you don’t have a once tight seal above the vent.

I been using meguiars 39 to clean and gtechniq c4 to restore my hood deflector w/ good results so I did the same here

It's a bitch of a job but totally worth it for the labor savings (got quoted $650), personally I had to pull the negative terminal for 10mins (ECU reset) to see the mpg benefit on the cluster.

Added a Bulletpoint Rubigrid for my whacker firefighter radio! Install was easy and took about 30 minutes. Only lesson learned was take your time marking the holes. Fortunately the washers were more than enough to take up the error made in my haste!

I went with the Total Chaos because they are not super wide, and they go the height of the bed adding an additional tie-down point.

There you go. A different flavor for everyone, none tastes as good as your own favorite.

Did you only have to "select quantity of 1" when you purchased to get both? I guess, I am asking if you get 2 of them for the price or do you have to select qty of 2?

not OP but I have the NYTOP rear recovery points. I can confirm you only need to purchase "quantity of 1" as they're sold in pairs. I also love them!

Purchased Toyota Certified, with Vijay bumpers, additional lights, and Falken Wildpeaks on Fuel rims. Prev owner apparently painted the grill.
Washed it Saturday, watched it rain all day Sunday. Applied Griot's Black Satin to the tires today.

Would 303 Aerospace be good on the factory (?) folding bed cover?

Mine is a 2022 certified preowned, so I'm not sure what is factory, and what has been used on it in the past.

“2WD-4WD Mode Change Failure” error message.

The “tap tap tapping” of transfer actuator black box did not fix the issue.
Had to take it to the dealer who had smarter tools than me, it turned out that I had critters chomped a chunk out of some wires.

“P17AC Transfer Shift Motor Limit Switch Circuit” was the error from dealer’s sensor report.

    IMG_6962.jpg
    Wires chewed by rodents…

Extended warranty does not cover hungy rodent toofus damage, let’s see if we can get some money back from insurance comprehensive coverage
