    Greetings Toyota Tacoma loyalists,

I found this forum after searching for why my 1995 2.4L, 2wd AT just stopped on me. My experience is that this type of failure is usually fuel related so I started investigating there. Found a great thread on this forum that sounds exactly like my situation so I'll be making some exchanges on that one.
For now, just a quick overview... I bought this truck in 2000 w 59k mi on it. I previously owned a 1980 SR5 w 22R, long bed, 5spd but it had a chronic overheating problem then started failing emissions tests. Bad back, couldn't work on it, blah, blah, blah. I needed an automatic anyway and I wanted an extended cab.
Blew a head gasket on the 95 in 2014. Did that work and it's been running like a train ever since with regular maintenance. I have had multiple, random offers for the truck but I will not sell.
Anyway, I'm glad I found this forum. It seems like one of the better ones so I hope to be able to offer info and use some from others on here.
Glad to be a part of the group.
