2024 TRD Sport Exhaust Smoke

Test drove a few different Sports today at different dealerships. I drove one and while acceleration onto the freeway it poured tons of smoke out the tailpipe. When I pointed it out to the salesman his BS answer was, it only has 18 miles on it, things need to burn off. Any of you experience this type of smoke (and I mean smoke screen) on your new 2024 TRD Sports?

 

What was the conditions while u witnessed smoke ?

 

65 degrees and sunny

 

Probably was moisture burning off the exhaust … or chemicals in the exhaust itself that was burning off from being new . Unless it was thick white or blue smoke then nothing to worry about .

 

It looked pretty and thick. needless to say, didn't buy that truck. Bought one from another dealership. The other two I drove did not smoke at all.

 

That salesman is some type of idiot. Unfortunately, there are people out there who will actually believe that bs answer.
