I know in regards to headlight assemblies, OEM is better than CAPA and CAPA is better than non-CAPA. I don't believe the CAPA standard applies to other light assemblies, but is OEM worth the $110 per assembly over the non-OEM $35? I know @crashnburn80 has gone into detail on the benefits of OEM for headlights before.

I wouldn’t worry about using stock-like aftermarket assemblies for the tails. The light output is diffused which is much easier and less precise than precision focused like the headlights. I say stock-like as I’d still avoid the stylized LED tails. OEM will of course be higher quality and last longer, but hard to justify on a 20+ year old truck for most.
