New Owner, Older Yota, 4.30:1 rear axle assembly wanted in Virginia

    None
    WANTED-1999-2003 rear axle assembly 4.30:1 ratio, for a 2004 Tacoma 4wd manual trans, w/ABS.

    I found one off a 2wd. Anyone know if they are interchangeable so long as the ratio is the same.

    My mechanic says it’s a non-locking rear axle, but the dealership says the VIN indicates it is a locking rear axle.

    Am in Virginia.
