Hello everyone, I would like to know if there are wires or something behind the circled location. I will put a usb port for my head unit. Thanks.

You'll need to get behind that panel to run the wire, it's a very tight fit and you'll have a hell of a time trying to fish stuff through. Just did a head unit install in my 06 last week and swapped one of the 12V sockets for a usb-c passthrough. The install guide for the wireless charger I also put in walks you through the teardown to get that panel out.

Just pull the panel off and do it on the bench. You have to take off a few other panels to get to it, but it's not too bad.

    I agree.

Or at a minimum pull the AC controls panel; it'll be easier to run wire with that removed.

I'd try to put it almost any where else. That panel requires removing all the pieces around it to get it out. Personally I put mine where the 2wd to 4wd selector dial goes, but I have a 2wd 5-lug so it was open space and my Offroam mount is right above it. Alternately I would pull one of the lighter plugs and put the usb port in it's place
