I ordered in January And haven’t received it yet..

 

I ordered a box and amp rack and have a question I'm sure you guys can answer. Does the box come with some type of binding post setup or do I need to source those?

 

Your responsibility. Marv likes a small hole and direct wire. I went binding post w hole saw.

You could post in the "show my your subwoofer" thread and I bet someone might find something nicer.

 

I went with binding posts from parts express. Drilled a couple small holes, slid them in and tightened them up.

 

Have you received your box from MrMarv yet?

 

I'm not the OP but I did receive mine, ordered end of January, received end of April. Mr. Marv was great to work with, and the boxes were definitely worth the wait! Little details you don't realize at first, but upon a second look really make it worth it. For example: the cut out for the seat mount changes the box dimensions for the driver's side- there is a corresponding nook closed off inside the passengers side box that you can't see from the outside, but it is there and the fact that he does this shows he knows his stuff. Plus the finish, so nice!

 

I ordered in march, paid minus shipping, and was told 2-3 weeks. After I texted he told me in April he’ll give me an eta soon and just got the material, told me in may after I texted again he had something personal going on and just needed to get out to sand it, and not a word since going into July.

3/14 is when I ordered and was told 2-3 weeks…my last communication about the sanding was May 26th…and not a word since.


Everyone raves about the dude but I don’t think I’d recommend giving money up front after the dishonest ETA and lack of communication…

 

I talked to Marv a few weeks ago. I ordered my 3rd custom box from him last year. I wasn't in a hurry and was going to.pick it up from him instead of having it shipped. He's going through a few things right now so he's been a little hard to get a hold of. Calling him is the best way to get a hold of him. I've found calling is better that text when tryong to get a hold of him.

 

I did get the box, took a lot longer than estimated but I’m happy with it! Just wanted to update to say I ended up getting it.

 

I purchased 2 Audiofrog GB12D4 sub’s…a speaker box with amp rack from Marv 3 years ago and everytime I call him he is super busy and will have my stuff finished soon.
Can I file a claim with PayPal after 3 years? I am really confused why he keeps avoiding me.

 

Yikes - 3 years? Marv seems like a good guy - have you asked him for your money back? No idea what Paypal will do there, but interested to hear...
