BSM

I think you need to post a picture of your rear bumper and then take a picture, looking up from underneath. Something isn't adding up...



Red are backup sensor locations (not cameras). Yellow is a camera. The blue arrows indicate where the BSM sensor is, behind the plastic bumper caps. There is no visible evidence for a BSM sensor, from the exterior.

One of two things is going on here, IMO...

1. The car has back up sensors, but was in an accident and the previous owner did not replace the left bumper cap with a back up sensor compatible bumper cap.
2. The car doesn't have back up sensors, but was in an accident and the previous owner replaced the bumper cap with a back up sensor cap.

My money is on #2

 

If you have the switch and the car symbols on your mirrors you have BSM

 

@Bertw192 @wfo479 - so, these are the actual trucks I am looking at. I am trying my last effort to get a 3rd Gen before my wife forces me to buy a new one!! The first two are the ones I have been sending images of. The last one is also one I am considering.... Thanks again.

All three of those have BSM and parking sensors as evidenced by the oem buttons in the correct location in the interior.
What’s funny is the drivers side parking sensor on #1 has been painted the same color as the bumper cap for some reason...
The lighting in those pictures of the exterior leaves a lot to be desired

 

@musicisevil - yeah, the all have BSM, but that first one concerns me as it seems a bit off (sensor). The second one also seems to have LED lights and bed cover (not sure about bed lights). First one seems to have bed lights. So, I think I will wait until the second becomes available and have that transferred to our location. Thank you again.
