4Runner owner here but looking to trade in for new upcoming 2025 model.

Looks like the new 2025 Limited and Platinum 4Runners will have the Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) that is new to 4Runner and not one known much about it in the 4Runner groups.

I’m thinking of getting a Limited because it has the full time 4WD but now somewhat hesitant because of this AVS suspension as my plan was to upgrade the suspension.

does anyone have any experience or knowledge of this AVS system and if it’s easy to delete them and replace with new off-road suspension like Bilstein, Fox, Dobinsons? Would this AVS break easy if using it offroad?
