Just got back from picking up a bunch of bags of topsoil at Walmart. The truck barely sagged. Just a couple of inches. I did the calculation when I got home and I was 358lbs over payload. Truck performed perfectly. The purpose of bringing it up here is when allot of people are complaining about their trucks sometimes they don’t consider that they are operating outside of their specifications. I love my truck. It must be a unicorn.

Tacos can easily handle most loads over manufactures specs. The problem is when you exceed those limits you put extra stress on the suspension, tires , brakes etc. Done often or with extremely over weight loads that can cause premature wear or failure
of suspension, tire failure (blow out), poor braking/longer braking distances, problems with steering. I have overloaded mine several times with firewood. But I know the potential problems of doing so, and I know my chances of having an accident are greatly increased.
