How to de-pin this connector

    It looks like there's some kind of "latch" on the top, but I'm not able to get it to come out.

    It's for the steering wheel buttons. Previous owner cut the wires too short, and I want to use the plug.

    I’d probably try my cheap Schwaben 13pc depin tool kit that’s supposed to be universal

    Predator tube steps, Ranch Hand grill guard, Magnaflow CatBack exhaust, Toyota tool box & bed mat, 2LO Module by @Up2NoGood, Rearview Compass/Temp Mirror, Tune by @JustDSM.
    If you have some very small flat screwdrivers you might have a shot.

    This is a bigger version of the same design, you have to pop the latch up first.

    Then unlatch the pin.

    maybe bending a paper clip
    or bending a small flat head screwdriver that might need heat. And grinding it smaller.
