Almost threw my topper away lol

    IMG_1925.jpg So yesterday was a rainy cold day , I waited until it stop raining to install my softopper, BIG MISTAKE lol the material didnt stretch and i almost threw the softoppern in the trash fast foward today it clipped on within 30 seconds lol.



    I also installed the pop and lock , the installation was a breeze I highly recommend it.Im getting ready for winter camping this december!

    I've been thinking about ditching the bakflip x4s and getting one of these unless I can find a used fiberglass shell for a good price.

    yeah i wanted the fiberglass shell until i found out how much they weigh, I was very close on buying a alucab and put it on my credit card :spending: but i was like let me attempt one more time and bam less then 30 seconds.If you do this brand make sure you let it sit in the sun so it can be malleable

    It looks like you have it installed incorrectly?

    Note that the instructions show a 2nd Gen that does not have the header rail that the 3rd Gen has. You need to move the mounting rails to the proper spot. Look closely at that figure in the instructions.

    Ya.. SumTingWong.. should be tighter.. & the more you put on & off better it gets. In winter I’ll put mine inside for while before try’n to put back on.

    Something ain’t right did they send u the wrong one ? Way to loose … do u have a curved bar or straight one on the back ? The 3rd gen one has a curved one .
