    300 miles

And there is the electric vehicle conundrum.
We routinely go to see my M-I-L for a day trip, 350-400 miles.

I can just see explaining that one to Mrs Green:
"We have to take the ($1200) van, my new $85,000 Lightning won't get us down and back..."

That dude ain't hauling anything but his Brooks Brothers chinos and Lamb wool sweater back and forth to his money management firm.

I'm gonna remain sceptical that fully electric is the future of full size trucks anyways.

I think in the future the range issue will improve, early adopters always have some issues to work out. I also think the heavy truck - electric idea won't really work until there is a "miracle" improvement in battery tech.

There’s more energy efficient propulsion sitting in underground bunkers than we can imagine. It’s all an agenda to milk the fuck out of us

If 300 miles with the truck bed loaded on a full charge, it’s an impressive number for a truck in that capacity.

Wonder if the MPG remains @ 300 after the winch installed.

    First off congrats!

I have that same headlight adjustment on my '24 Tacoma. I was playing with it the other morning driving down the road at 4am. Pretty neat, but I don't think I'd need to use it myself as I don't lift or tow in the dark. :anonymous:

    Oh yea, morning folks :pccoffee:

Supposed to be in the 80's the next three days, finally!

Also speaking of oil filters and servicing I had to stop by the dealer to pick up some missing paperwork from my truck. Decided while I was there the Camry is coming up on an oil change so I'll pick up a filter. This little thing here and a drain plug washer was $13! o_O

After hearing @Tacoma Mike ’s explanation and how prices are in general, $13 seems like a bargain :notsure:

What was the price the last time you bought it?

Depending on your plans for the car, you might want to consider buying them by the case when Toyota has sales.

I think the last time I bought a spin on type filter was for my 2009 Tacoma and this was pre-C19 times so I want to say they were $6.50 and they threw in the washer for free. Bought several cartridge filters for our old Camry and 3rd gens and they were in the $7.50 range.

I'm probably going to just buy some WIX ones off Rock Auto. The 2.5 in the current Camry is known to be very hard on oil so it will probably get 6 month oil changes. It doesn't get run as much as it should so I think that will work out.
