I don't remember the exact number of the set I'm using, but they make contact with the frame at all times and I actually prefer. Thanks to this I said goodbye to wheel hop a long time ago.

The two models of 2nd gen supersprings are 1000 lbs and 1500 lbs. (You're right about the 3rd gens, they are 500 and 1000)

So does anyone found a solution for something to put on the screw when sumospring are remove??

No need to jack the truck if you want to remove the sumospring, just found something that you can flex your truck enought to have acces to the sumospring and removing it without jack.

    Exemple :

I'm still interested too. I leave mine on currently, but it would be cool to be able to back and forth.

Just for some more info out there . i have a 2016 and have had he SSR-610-40 put on after the first 3 months i had the truck. it raised the back end 5/8 inch (about).
That i liked as it gets ride of the squat they have .
I tow a #2500lbs trailer a few weeks a year with a loaded full truck, they help a lot for this.
When i have the full family with me, wife and 2 under 18 kids it runs fine (better) unless the road is crap.
just me, it can get a little sharp from the back over bigger bumps (speed bumps) , but the truck doesn't bounce over the place.
So over all i like them better in than out, and i think the 1" shorter "new"style may be too soft for the price, as if you have mostly a empty truck you don't need this.

I contacted Super Springs about the new insert and asking if they did an insert replacement for those of us who purchased the WRONG part. We have documented here that Super Springs tells customers who called in that they were unaware of the original set of inserts always contacting the frame.

they said my set of inserts were too old, even though they were selling the wrong insert for almost 2 years

Reviving an old thread. I installed the 612 Sumo springs yesterday to help when loaded with dirt bikes, towing the camper, etc. I am definitely noticing a harsher ride when unloaded, I know I'm hitting the Sumos pretty often just with regular driving. Would like to find a shorter "normal" bump stop to screw onto the Sumo bracket for normal driving, and screw the Sumo back on when loaded. The Sumo backing plate has a threaded stud welded to it. Would be very easy to switch back and forth. I guess I could buy a couple chunks of rubber and make some, but there must be something already out there that would work. Anyone have any solutions for a screw-on bump stop?
