Should I color match the shell?

    Some combo's just don't work. That isn't my favorite, but I could live with it. I think black would look better than white with the red truck. If it were mine I'd get some estimates. If I could get it done at a good price I might do it. But it wouldn't be worth more than $300ish. Any more than that and I can live with it.

    Some color combo's look better than the monochromatic look. I have a BIL with a silver colored F150 with a dark gray top that looks great. I have another friend with a two tone red truck with gold trim. He found a used gold colored cap that looks great on it. I had a green truck a few years ago and found a gold top that looked good on it.

    That white on red looks good. Looks deliberate and like a truck. Plus it stays a bit cooler in the summer.

    Per the above silver does color match well. I have a silver shell on white truck and think it works better than all white.

    Also if that white is just the fiberglass gel coat (not paint) def don't paint it because the gel finish is much easier to maintain long term.
