My case, MSRP was around 39k, with my trade in, price came down. But I buy the basic extended service plan, price went back up to 39k.

I had a 3rd gen manual Trd off-road that I paid 39k, I prefer my SR 4th gen over it for same price any day. I’m towing a 4k trailer from New Hampshire to Florida this week and the 4th gen isn’t breaking a sweat. I’ll take 310trq at 1700rpm over better shocks and a rear locker.

For those that might want a base manual double cab 4wd, Bennett Toyota of Lebanon has two white ones…

Can I ask you a favor can you try to notice when you down shift to 2nd when the clutch is engaged and you just hit second im feeling a weird feeling in my pedal. I have never owned a manual truck so it could just me. Its easier to notice when the radio is down. But it seems like I only notice it in 2nd. Thanks

Nothing noticeable either up shifting or downshifting, while driving. I think both my 3rd gen manuals had excessive slack in the driveshaft with clutch depressed and would cluck if clutch was depressed over bumps. Very annoying on a new truck. That issue was eliminated on my 4th gen. I also like how it has an alloy driveshaft.

IIRC that sound comes from the pressure plate. A lot of the 3rd gen’s do it.
