Yeah, this thing picks up and boogies, waaaaay quicker than the 3rd gen did even with a pedal commander. The gear hunt is gone too, seems like they finally ironed that one out.

if you drive the truck in eco mode, it’s comparable to the 3rd gen, but in sport mode the thing is fast, really fast. I saw a vid of someone throwing a pedal commander on the 4th and I honestly am not sure what that would be any good for, there’s practically zero turbo lag and the torque is instant and carries through the band. I’m pleased so far, completely different truck.

...and IMO, it's only going to get better as the generation years mature over time and they perform the usual "factory tunes": Engine, Transmission, Driveline, Frame and body. The best times are yet to come.

nope, it’s full leather, they’re ventilated seats too which is super nice, I’m assuming you’re referring to the patterned area of the seats? It’s almost like the carbon pattern from the tundra pro’s fender flares and other little accents.

speaking of the seats, holy fuck they’re comfy and there’s way more room for adjustability, feels like there’s so much more head room than the 3rd gen too

brake pedal seems normal sized to me? Its no bigger than the 3rd gen one

im in western Canada, the clusterfuck from Toyota was I ordered an off-road premium in underground and they “forgot” that truck was allocated to me, sold it, then just went “oops! Sorry! We didn’t realize it was your order!”
Then tried to offer me a solar octane sport premium… lol, dingus move Toyota. After some strong words with head office and lighting up the sales team, my now black off-road premium was on a train from another province on a rush order and another scolding to the sales manager and off I went lol.

I like that. Looks great. Like the contrast of the rims with black & the front end. Almost looks evil, lol :drevil:

Hope you have good luck with it, buddy! :)
