Yeah I paid the same. About $120 but still not complaining. All the haters said they wouldn't last but mine looks as good as the day I put it on.

Right I think I paid 100 for mine, which felt like i was getting a hell of a bargain at the time and it still looks great.

Just received my ebay Snorkel in the mail today.

1st impressions: dang. this thing is pretty well made. the plastic is decently thick, the rubber hose fits smoothly on the snorkel attachment, and comes with template and necessary hw. i used @jacobrippey's ebay link.

this version of the tube does NOT have the oval logo area, the exterior is smoothed out.

my dog decided to model it for you all.

now I need to see if i can borrow the appropriate hole saw from my mechanic friend... :)

I cut the hole for mine with a Harbor Fright stepper bit and tin snips. Was close to perfect but is completely covered up by the snorkel itself. Don’t forget to spray a little paint on the bare metal before final installation.

Think I found them on IG- I think its snorkelupgrade.com.

They are farming equipment pre-cleaners with a proven track record- snorkelupgrade includes an adapter, 2.5 to 3" or something like that that makes the pre-cleaner fit so thats a nice touch.

this says it’s only for up to 2002 Tacoma. I have a 2003. Would it fit? I see your profile says you have a 2004. Any issues? Thanks!

That's probably just an error on the company's part, I can't think of any differences between 02 to 03/04 that would matter for a snorkel. Never seen any other snorkel brand differentiate between them either.

Hey thanks, The link doesnt work (thanks for letting me know) when I click it from my computer it goes to the IG, I'll look into that.
The camper I built out of aluminum. The estimated weight of the camper on paper weights about 300lbs. (total weight is more if you start adding in the battery, storage, and gear.)
Ill shoot you a message with more details, so we don't sidetrack this thread.

Has anyone replaced the hoses with a single piece duct or similar?
I saw this was linked earlier in here, but no one chimed in on if they actually used it: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001OMM7HM
During install I found my factory plastic intake piece was cracked, so I'm thinking instead of getting a new one, wouldn't a single hose straight from snorkel to airbox be better? 2 connections to seal instead of 4
