What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Picked up a small nail in the GY Duratrac, luckily was fairly close to a Goodyear and got free internal repair patch and had all 4 rebalanced all for free, 4got I had that option avail. Great service, really needed the rebalance after 3.5 yrs, most of the weighs were long gone.
Drives like new and added .5hp

 

Found a screw in my ko2. Not the this one but another I pulled and had nothing happened. This one was tiny but long, so it leaked. I patched it, which took way longer than I wanted to. Gotta do my tire rotation,
Like now, probably tomorrow. It’s a five way rotation and it’s going to spare next.

 

Installed an Auxbeam dust light in the rear bumper. Not ideal being so low, but damn if it isn't bright. Also, the Auxbeam lights come with wiring, a relay, and switch (I swapped in a knock off oem fog light push button switch).

 

Just drop a few tabs man..

Real late pictures of the stereo install but here’s the SKAR stealth box. Really enjoy how this came out and the sound is amazing. Just what I wanted.

 

I got the light off Amazon. Here is the link to the light, the switch, and the YouTube video of a guy who did it using a Diode Dynamics light and gave me the idea.

I forgot to add that the only complaint I have is that the relay is wired directly to the battery and there is no ignition leg on it to keep it from turning on while the truck is off. It isn't an issue for me, but I'm sure some more industrious folks could find another relay and wire it up so that it can only be turned on with the ignition on. I know I could also have pulled power from a source that was triggered by the ignition, but I didn't want to mess with any engine bay wiring or fuses to be honest.

I priced an OEM bed matt, I like to buy quality stuff but dang !!! $385 !!! Would like to get some choices from others that got a bed matt other than OEM. Thanks

 

Tractor Supply stall mat ... $50. 4 ft x 6 ft, cut the corners as needed.

 

eBay. I got a used one for like $50 last year. A little dirty, but isnt that what its for?

Looks like they've gone up in price. Shop around a bit. Got my oem bed mat from eBay for around $80 a few years back. Someone bought it for their long bed Tacoma by mistake. The oem mat is really good quality. Bam wholesale has it for 125ish.

Pulled my rear driveshaft today, had a u-joint go bad. Now for the next couple of days I have a fwd Tacoma.

 

Goodies from Canada showed up today.
A beautiful set of aluminum sliders from Greenlane Offroad.
Only 27lbs each and never have to worry about rust.
$1020 usd shipped to my door, duty fees are unknow right now because I haven't heard anything from FedEx.

 

Thanks for all the responses on the bed mat. I called the Toyota dealer and that was the price he gave $385, geez. Tractor Supply is a good option and so is eBay. I’ll do some more snoop dogg’in before I buy. What about those mats that are made to go on the floor around like a workshop table, I think they hook together and I could cut to size ? Just a thought.
