Put seat covers on.. After putting a small lift I am no longer sitting when I get in, I am sliding across the seat so these will save my seat from wear and tear..

 

Turbocharged and straight piped so I wanted it quiet, but also wanted it to flow well

Since I put the skid pkate back on today that marks finishing my head gasket, water pump, fuel injector, spark plug, and thermostat replacement. Very happy with how things went, except that now I really want to do the exhaust.

Purchased my 2006 TRD Sport about a month ago. So 'I' know what I'm starting with I had the following done as of today:
New Sony Stereo system with Apple Car Play/Android Auto Play, all new Kicker speakers, backup camera, oil&filter change, tires rotated, brakes checked (good),brake fluid replaced, auto trans fluid replaced, diff fluid replaced, cooling system flushed, new coolant, new upper&lower radiator hoses, serpentine belt replaced, PS fluid replaced, tune-up, new AGM battery, engine air filter&cabin filter replaced, new OEM head lights and fog lights installed, amber LED front marker lamps, LED backup lamps, new Sylvania head light lamps, Bed Rug, Bakflip hard tonneau cover, driver&passenger windows tinted, windshield tint strip, new cup holders,Maxpedition Molle storage pouches for center console, Cocoon Grid-It for center console, LED lamps for map lights and dome light, Desert Does It Seat Jackers for driver&passenger seats, Weathertech window deflectors. 109,800 miles on the odometer. Should be good to go.

 

18 yr old here learned how to splice and crimp wires today. Installed a new stereo in my 2012 SR5. Wanted to feel a little fancy but on a budget so I went with a sJoybring W-005. Overall amazing stereo and I love it so far. I also had to get a bracket adapter specifically for tacomas. Overall fun and very time consuming experience.

 

A few days ago, we took it to the mountains and added to our pinstripe collection.



Today.... I finally reached a breaking point. I was tired of looking at the clear coat disappearing on the upper door frames. So I decided to do a temporary temp job until I can get those pieces professionally painted. Also gave it a long over due detail and wax.

 

Anything is better than those stock stereos. I put the cheap $160 Atoto head units in my 2008 and sons 2012. Mine has been great for 2 years but I think son needs to update firmware or possibly check wiring. His has had some rebooting issues.

 

Would you share the Link? I've wanted to do this but end up lost in the sea of options that all look identical.
