    Welcome aboard!

To me, it looks photoshopped/AI generated, for 3 reasons:

    1. I have never ever seen those fenders “in the wild”.
    2. The front end appears to be flush with the fenders. Which means you’d have to find/fabricate a wider front end with extra width.
    3. Look at the source. A good portion of everything posted to Instagram is modified to some degree (enhanced/filtered/photoshopped etc). So if you are an aspiring photoshopper, where is the first place you’d upload your work?

Is that not factory fenders? That is a drop bracket/spindle 4 or 6" lift so thats giving it the height and the fitment on the headlamp/front bumper is too flush for it to be wider by much. Also by the looks of it thats the factory flare on there?

They probably are. I think OPs photos are contrast enhanced to exaggerate the shadowing of the metal fender above the black trim. I have never seen a true “wide body” Tacoma, other than photoshops.

Edit: Another clue to the photos being ”enhanced” is the grille and bumper (especially the driver’s side). Notice how everything has an artificial/processed look. It’s been edited with one or more filters, no doubt.
