I'm at a loss, after searching for this part almost a month, and getting orders canceled from many vendors.
The part is 51431-35180, described by Toyota as a Rear Engine Mounting Bracket, but also goes by the name Transmission Mount Bracket. Photo from my repair manual below
    [IMG]
Not the Transmission Mount, but the bracket that attaches it to the cross-member.
It appears to be specific to the VZN150 with M/T.
I've kept my eye out at local scrap yards, but finding my specific 2wd, non-prerunner, seems to be an issue as most are prerunner or 4wd.
I've decided to ask you guys what you think my best option is. I cannot weld, but I live in Florida if anyone has any local ideas.

CPS-65 I’m good for some, but I’m not for everyone.

If you don't have a broken mount to repair or build a new one off of, you might look for a fab shop that can make one for you. If you lived in So Cal, I'd just do it for you. It's not a big deal but I would need the truck. You might check with a trans shop in your area, or ask if they have anyone they have who can do it.
As I take a better look at the picture, it looks like there is a rubber isolator on the mount. That would be the tricky part if the mount had to be fabbed.

    Will do.
From my understanding, the rubber comes from the mount on top (which is readily available) and not the bracket (which I need). I've been hesitant of taking it off until I have all the parts cause I need it road-worthy.

Curious, what happened to the old bracket and why can't it be reused?

If it is just the bracket and not the actual rubber mount (labelled Engine Rear Mounting in your pic), I'm sure someone could fab up some sort of bracket thing to get the stock mount to bolt to the trans crossmember (i'm assuming that's where this bracket bolts to).

    ;)
You're welcome to check, I've been checking for the better part of a month and there's nothing. I would happily be proven wrong. Please excuse any salt ;)
The part is rusted preeeeeeetty bad, and I'd really like to completely replace it for fear of deep corrosion once I take the bracket off. Currently looking into fab options.

They rust through pretty bad. On top of that they sometimes get used as anchor points for jacks and that upward pressure pushes through the rust and makes a hole.

    Yeah.
RockAuto lists multiple choices for both 2WD and 4WD. They usually indicate when they are out of stock. But you have to look under Transmission->Transmission Mount to find it.

EDIT: Nevermind, sounds like you need the piece that part mounts to maybe? Yeah, that would likely be a scrap yard part.

Almost... it's a separate bracket that connects to the cross member using 4 bolts. My crossmember is in better shape.

I couldn't find any clearer photos since this seems to be a rarity.

I have been busy running down discontinued parts for my '97 Taco and finally found them in FL no less. Just waiting on a shipping quote. Now that we can see what part you are actually looking for, I looked into it. The 51431B code 51431-35180 Bracket was used on Tacos like yours from 1/95-9/2000. As you stated, I don't see any for sale online. But at 70 with 56 years of experience chasing down parts for '60s muscle cars/motorcycles/boats/4WDs/airplanes, I have learned how to think outside the box when chasing down elusive parts. The parts schematic for the '98 V6 4Runner 2WD M/T shows the same 51431B code for the bracket on the crossmember as your Taco. I did not see a separate part number for the 4Runner 51431B Bracket, so it may have been considered part of the removable crossmember assembly on the 4Runner application. There are a couple of 4Runner crossmembers with their 51431B Bracket (below) on Ebay. If it is not the exact same bracket as on your Taco, it appears to be close enough for a competent welder to modify fairly easily. I was a full-time iron worker/structural welder for years and worked at a machine shop repairing whatever needed fixing as a side-hustle. HTH
