Nice man! I love those wheels too! Ive been wanting to get my hands on a set for years. I bought one from a toyota dealership a while back. It was the last one they had and it was just hanging on a display wall. If you ever want the look of those wheels in a 17 inch FN actually makes them. The other picture is an example of the FN 5 stars on a 265 75 16. I'm not affiliated with FN at all by the way. Their customer service was just top notch so I'm proud to use their products.

Oh and keep us updated on those KO3's I'm interested to see how well they do. Those and the new Falken wildpeak AT4's are the tires that have my current attention.

Thank you and yes I am aware of the FN wheels in 17s, however, I wanted to stay close to that +10mm offset and not crazy amount of poke because of the potential rubbing even with 265/75r16 size. I got my wheels from toyota dealer and wheel covers from FN and TRD stickers from someone else. It is the best looking setup imo. and as far as KO3s I will keep you updated, not going to falken because I kinda wanted that white letter looking (more baja feel). cheers!

I agree, 16" rim looks the best to me. I recently changed from 285/75/16 BFG to a 265/75/16 Firestones and I feel like this tire is more natural for a Tacoma. Way lighter and just as capable! and they perform much better in wet conditions..which I don't understand lol

I'm a big fan of the white letters too! And speaking of Baja my tires are the Mickey Thompson baja legend.

Still on the fence about white letters but, I'm glad I stuck with 275/70/17. I had KO2s in a similar size but I wanted a 2 ply sidewall just for a more forgiving daily use. Baja Legend EXP vs KO2. KO2s run a tad wider.

I drove about 30-40 miles of unplowed & tracked snow today in my wife's 24 Tacoma with the new Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/Ts, 285/70 R17. Pretty uneventful, no sliding or drifting, no wheel spin and even drove in 2WD a good distance. A big difference from the Nitto Ridge Grappler's performance.

Thank you for posting your snow experience with the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T. Many forum members should find it helpful when considering purchasing tires. That's a great looking Taco, by the way.

I really want to go to a 255 85 16 but I also have these tires currently and love them. So it's hard to not by them again next time. I wish Mickey Thompson would make these or the Baja boss in a 255 85 16.

I've only had these tires for a week and so far highway driving is more comfortable. Sweet stealth winch bumper. I was looking into those

Thanks man. The bumper didn't seem to hurt my mpg either. I'm glad I went with it vs a full bumper replacement. If I would have did a full bumper I'd want bigger tires (i feel they dont look right without 35s at least) , and then I'd want to regear , then I'd put in a front locker while regearing. It's a downward spiral of spending money. Haha
