IMG_4295.jpg I tried searching around but couldn’t find any hits. Has anyone ever tried modding the stereo unit to create an auxiliary input? I would prefer to keep the OEM and not have a big aftermarket display style system.

Before I pulled the stock 6 disc head unit out of my 07 and replaced it with a Joying head unit, I used this. https://www.tacomaworld.com/posts/18742541
That particular unit isn't available any longer, but I'm sure there are others.

Thank you so much! I found this on the Amazonian and it was super easy plug and play! There was an empty port on the stereo that the unit patches into. The Bluetooth box just hangs out behind everything, so completely stealthy! Just switch to CD to access the channel. CD still works, it just overrides Bluetooth if a disc is inserted. The output is little low, but no big deal. Sound quality is totally fine. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N1IFWA1
