I have a 2021 Tacoma extended cab. I about to install a CB radio in it. In going to rout the coax for the antenna utilizing the plug underneath the driver's seat. My first question is how to remove the piece on the bottom of the door Jamb threshold "Circled in white Pic 1" so I can get under the carpet. I'm guessing it pulls up and simply snaps off! I'm not 100% sure and I don't want to damage it.
My 2nd question pertains the cubby hole in front of the cup holder. "Circled in white Pic 2" I plan to simply put 1/4'' hole in it to feed coax through. Is there room behind it? Do I need to remove it? If so, how? I've seen videos how to remove the console but not this.

Pull up on a corner of that door sill plate and work your way toward the other end. Line up and push back on when it's time to re-install

Yep, door sill plates always pull straight up for access.

As far as the cubby, don't ever blind-drill anywhere in a vehicle. Main harnesses can go rogue an occupy typically open areas, which get expensive real fast!

The right way here is to follow guides on either/both radio removal to gain access above, and guides on changing the cupholder out, which will give you access below the cubby.

From there you should be able to get a hand back behind it to either hold wires away from your intended drilling spot, or verify there's nothing there.

It also doesn't hurt to hold a piece of medium-gauge sheet metal directly behind where the drill bit will pop through to keep it from popping/walking/twisting into something unintended.

Though ideally, you'll want to be removing the center console with the cubby and performing the drilling operation outside of the truck
