Bent, cut out axle parts? Padding the prize box, eh

Glad you and Cole weren’t hurt  Nice bit of reactive driving there for sure.

I absolutely agree. I see a lot of older regretting their life choices nowadays.
I see others that never learned how to be a good human.
I am an early GenX person. When I was young, men were defined much different than they are today. We were expected to fight, be tough, not cry, not express emotion.
Becoming a man back then was tough and you had to be tough. Not only that, there was another level of man and that was a "manly man!" The toughest of them all!
Somehow, the world expects people like me to somehow unlearn what is essentially my whole first 30 years of life! There was no participation trophy. You won, or lost! There were no do overs. You passed a class or you failed.
I think we still in a transition from manly men to something else that defines a man. Is it better? I don't know. Is it easier? Yes. You literally could not have made being a man in the 70's and 80's any tougher to achieve. It was brutal. Some of us made it through. Some of us went through divorces, drugs, alchohol or suicides. Some of us were so shell shocked that they just barely functioned for the rest of their life. I cannot speak of the boomers time but I can speak about the generation that is currently having kids. It is much easier to be a man now!

I saw something earlier that said “decisions, not circumstances, determine what a man is”.

    There’s some truth in that.

For the longest time, I was born the last year of the Boomers, only recently I found they bumped it by a year now I’m a first year Xer. I say go pound sand to whoever throws these things out there.

I consider myself a Boomer but without all the negative stereotypes :D

I'm a Gen X'r myself. I always thought of my folks as Baby Boomers, but I recon they actually snuck into the tail end of the silent generation.

So most of us are GenX, just at different phases.
I think...the hardest thing for us is the tech and social changes that have literally happened in our lifetime. We have constantly had to adapt. Boomers had basically the same tech their whole lives. Silent generation the same.
