A little something every chance we get.
:rain: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Not raining, but too wet to mow or anything. Go figure. Rando weather threats all weekend - no Sunday Car Show. Might go back to the hangar today - couple of pictures in the wing tank showed some pretty mediocre taping.

    Sue!

Got a call from my fishing buddy Jim, we will be on the lake tonight at midnight for the Walleye opener, can only hope they are cooperating!

Just ordered a carb kit for a spare 780 cfm Holley that I have, not that I don't have enough other things to do, good project for a rainy day! :)

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
It's nice out, I've got nothing else planned for today...I think I'll jump on the bike and get an ice cream cone...60 miles from here.

happy Friday all from sunny San Diego. walked a mile today, recovering from Rituximab infusion yesterday. Picked up a 22" blackstone griddle with accessory package from Big 5 as a daily deal for $149. Will be eaiser to haul around than the Camp Chef 2 burner stove with griddle top. already took a 2 hour nap today. could not sleep much last night. might take another in the hammock this afternoon

    Sounds like a good day

Not a thing wrong with naps!!! A hammock nap with a little breeze, not much better.

:rain:Good morning Porch Pals & Sue. It keeps doing nothing on us here at home, but it's still wet everywhere. One of the Mexican places for a good breakfast, and then we're off to search out a new mattress. At least it's the correct holiday season for sales!

Check out mattress firm. They tend to have a real good selection.

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
Don't forget to check out the online sellers. We got our new Nectar matress with a lifetme warranty and a one year "no questions asked" return policy From Amazon. Also got a fully adjustable frame. Got all of this cheaper than we could have got them locally. Mattress came very quickly, but sadly the frame took longer than we expected as the shipping company that ships the frame we bought had a ridiculous schedule to our. Not sure this is the best time of the year to buy mattresses. as ours was discounted during "presidents day" sales. This is our first full "foam construction" mattress -we love it. Good luck with your search. EDIT -I just checked and the matress is just $10 bucks higher than we paid on amazon. "Lucid" is the frame we bought -very heavy duty and works well -Problem is the terrible shipping company they use to ship to our area. The frame sat on ST Louis in a shipping dockfor 2 weeks before they got it to us. Crazy thing is we live in the Capitol city of Mo. and they call us "rural". Delivery was STUPID and they said their schedule was every other week to our rural area!!??

    Afternoon all:

Looks like it may be another bad year, we could only manage to get one small walleye and a striper last night, normally with a first day like that, it doesn't get much better! Getting to be hit and miss at the lake, mostly miss anymore :(, the only good thing about it is that it's close.

Nothing major or fancy. Just stuff to make it work better for me. Running boards, seat covers, BakFlip
We had an inch and a half of rain in the last twenty four hours. That's not unusual for here. Good day for home mde chicken soup, scratch biscuits, and a fire in the wood stove.
LOL...the older I get the less I mind putting off chores on rainy days,
