Good morning friends! Hope everyone has a great weekend :hattip:

Much needed rain here today means no deck work. It’s all good though, changed the water filter on the house and the fridge and headed to baseball practice soon then a Brandon Lake concert this evening.

How/why.....? I have no idea. I do carry enough keys that I'm an honorary member of the local Janitorial Union. Luckily it fell in the driveway and was easy to find. I'm not sure if another key pressed the key release button or it just jarred loose.

    I resemble that remark!
Stereotypes, and generation classifications are "generally speaking" about a majority of the people loosely born within a time span. And mostly it is true. I can say most boomers have gray hair. Not all, but most. I can also say very few Gen Z people have gray hair.
I can say there are no GenX people that play for Manchester United.

We are all individual and different. But, at the same time, we also are the same as most everyone else around our age.
And it is not just age! Country people are different than city people! Mountain people are different than beach people. Cold states versus warm states!

Being married for 40 years, I can honestly say I have never been on a dating site, but I bet they ask a lot of questions! ;)

I'm the youngest of six and my next oldest sibling was 10 when I was born. When me moved to ND, she was 18 and stayed in Georgia. From then on I was essentially an only child and my siblings are more like cousins you rarely see - you know them but you didn't grow up with them.

Needless to say, I had no influence on any of them. :)

    Nice! New or vintage?

Regular route, just making time on the dirt roads.

On a rural route those trucks really take a pounding.

This is one of the new Ruger/Marlin 1894 in .357 Magnum. I’ve definitely supported the local economy the past couple of weeks lol.

I’ve been playing with the Ruger 1894 and my 2019 Marlin 1895.

The Ruger seems to be better quality, the fit and finish is very impressive. I haven’t field striped the gun, but feeling around inside the receiver I don’t feel any rough tooling marks and the action is smooth.

The Marlin needed some work smoothing out the action and cleaning up some burrs when I got it.
