    Howdy folks retired elevator (lift) tech here . I’m an older dude who learned how to drive long ago , on what were then called “ standard shift cars . Always a fan of manual transmissions , mostly because they were cheaper to buy . Bought my 19 Tacoma sport with a manual because I was not thrilled with the shifting pattern on the automatic . Love my Taco , it’s an excellent utility vehicle for my needs . I am looking forward to learning about my truck from the gear heads on this forum and perhaps contribute in some small way .
