Hi. I just bought my 2023 Tacoma SR5 last week. Had 18,000 miles on it, but we immediately put another 600+ miles on it by going beach camping at San Elijo (Got 22mpg going 80+ with a bed full of camping gear and a bike hanging off the back). Overall, I really like the Tacoma and don't plan on getting crazy with the mods. High priorities though are bigger tires with leveling kit or shocks, darker window tint up front, AND most importantly getting OTT tune or Pedalmonster from Banks. The shift points are definitely not what I like! I learned to use the "S" mode or ECT mode quickly with advice from another friend that owns a Tacoma. Thanks for letting me join and I look forward to the information overload. Cheers.

Scrubbed some tires, and knocked a dent out.
Bought my 23 late last december with 18k as wel and its now at 2555. Taller skinies, some tint, and a headache rack are first on my list. Then audio and air. Tons of great info and helpful people here. Though it can be pretty easy to get lost in all of it lol.

Yeah I've been a member of other forums for my other vehicles and toys, and I swear this time around I'm gonna do my best to stay on track with specific searches and not go down the rabbit holes. Ha, yeah right!

Do yourself a favor and get a tune. I finally got tuned and it makes a significant difference in driveability and overall satisfaction. The transmission finally feels like it knows what to do.
