That seems rather suspicious, given the NM Governor's recent tirade against guns, the 2A, and the Supreme Court's holding that the Constitution does guarantee a Citizen's individual right to own and carry for protection. o_O And she's a raging Democrat. I don't know about the rest of the State's legislature. Here in KY, our Governor is a moderate Democrat, but the rest of the State legislature is strongly conservative.

NM is a blue state. But only because the urban population far outnumbers the rural. Who depend on gas, oil, farming and ranching and are flaming GOP

I firmly believe that is how it is in every State. In both California, and New York, I personally found that the more rural an area, the more strongly conservative it is, because they see how destructive liberal policies usually are. And the more urban areas, the more liberal/blue they are.

In most States that are sparsely populated, say 5Million or fewer total residents, they probably only have a couple large cities, so overall, neither side has any significant majority, and therefore ability to control the State's political direction. In the highest populated States, such as CA, NY, they have many, many large cities, and so their populations are vastly concentrated in the cities, and so those States always tend to be overwhelmingly blue, and out of balance politically.

is what i had set out to purchase, in murrilin, it is treated like a pistol and MUST be registered as such, hence i went with the one that I posted earlier, difference shockwave has a 14.375 inch barrel versus mine with 18.5 mine holds 7 rounds, the shockwave holds 6

opinions are like assholes, so i fit rite in there...knowing @Gen1TacoLady and her fam have never handled any firearms, i wouldnt recommend a 12 gauge, just to much for a novice, heavier, harder hitting, im sure the 1st time Ms.Mollie fires a 12 gauge, she may have 2nd-3rd thoughts....410 will slow stop or kill purty much anything at close range. Keep in mind, i own 2 -12 gauges 1 -20 and the 410, i hunt in a shotgun only county in murrilin, and my 12 is my go to.

Yeah, being in a state of around only 3 million total. It gets complicated. Especially with our geography. Our largest cities are in the middle of the state, along the Rio Grande Valley and the mountains. So when, for example, the legislature says we’ll allow abortion, it only applies to the big cities. The ones in the desert and plains to the east, on the state line, pass an ordinance against abortion clinics. But encourage cannabis dispensaries. Because they like the Texans money. The western side is mostly National Forest, designated wilderness areas and the Navajo Nation so all bets are off there. :goingcrazy:
