I went to the dealership to check out the new Tacoma's and those are priced high $47K (Sport and Offroad). Not hating but it looks small, smaller than the 3rd gen or maybe it was just me. I was looking at a white TRD Sport, so the white color should give it an illusion of a bigger truck but it did not. I believe the offroad I saw was either Black or White. The dash and center console is nice. I'll pass for now and maybe it will grow on me.

Pretty sure the 4th generation is both marginally taller and wider.

Here is a 3rd gen TRD Off-Road parked right next to a 4th gen TRD Off-Road. They are similar size, with the 4th gen Tacoma being slightly wider and taller

Looks small. But FEELS BIG. That’s what you say when everyone’s looking at yours and pulling out the mental tape measure.

Thanks, that pictures shows the 4th gen is a little bigger than the 3rd gen. Basing on that picture, the 4th gen is slightly bigger. It was night and dealership was already closed when I dropped by to checked. I am really liking the dashboard.

Dang, I think I know that parking lot lol. I used to go to Rubys on the left for burritos and the Rubys pan dulce place on the right. After the Rubys restaurant closed for a while I started going to Tres Patrillos down the street. Small world.

I’ll have to go there next time I’m back in town. I love everything about being in Idaho, and we do have good food, but I definitely miss a lot of the food back home. If you ever go to Capitola go check out San Marcos Charquito, awesome tortas and tacos.

I love how a taco thread got sidetracked to talk about actual tacos…

Nice I’ll check it out at some point!

California does have some of the best tacos you’ll have in the United States…

    Also… pulled this off Etsy

    It’s a hitch cover

First observation walking up on a Gen4 is increased height. Roof, hood, tailgate, step-in, and headroom. Gen4 is a bit of a peacock; it’s flashier, appears larger and thus more intimidating, similar bird dimensionally.

Maybe after another 10 years of Tacoma design, Gen3 will look about the size of a Hot Wheel.
