Hey guys I have had this issue for some time and I am wondering if anyone would have a solution or a trouble area to check.
    I sometimes get both codes p0340 & p0351.
They don't immediately come on when wiped but I have noticed that sometimes the truck does not want to start and cranks a lot, however most the time it fires immediately.
I have noticed that turning the key to auxiliary and then off again, then starting the truck right after will throw the code p0351
However just starting it normally without the above nonsense won't throw the code.

These are camshaft codes and coil codes I believe, have you issues with those areas, possibly wires or connectors or the sensor or coils, wires, plugs maybe.
Are you running two step cooler plugs?

I don't believe I'm running two step cooler plugs. My mechanic actually put in new plugs when I had the timing belt/water pump done.

You need to get two stage cooler plugs and that code p0340 says it’s possible the camshaft sensor is bad or wires or the connector

Appreciate the advice. If I was to take out one of the plugs is there a dead give away on whether it's a two stage or not?

You probably have the stock double prong tipped plugs,

this kit you should buy that will support the fuel needs and plugs,

Thanks for the advice I will consider it. However I am just trying to fix the check engine at the moment and the truck runs fine.
