    Whadya wanna know?

Lots of maps to show where you can camp.

Jones pond was cool, you can get spots right on the water. Mountain pond is right around the corner, another 4 spots or so right on the water. Floodwood road has some more right onto the water. Most popular though.

honestly a lot of easily accessible spots with 4x4 vehicles but those are like the closest to the main roads.

i want to go back and rent a canoe for a night or two. Mostly hiked and a little paddle boarding last summer when I went up

Finally got to see live music again.

It did not disappoint. I have to go back through the archives, I used to listen to the opening-opening act way back when but I only remembered the closing song. They were excellent, though.

Jane used to be in my playlist years ago! My friend was a huge fan.

I ended up skipping out halfway through Bayside’s set. My friend had bailed after the first song and I made it through the few songs I knew / liked. Had he stayed for the duration I would have, but Sunday night is a tough sell.

Finch was SO good (at least when they played first album stuff). They were the band I was there to see.

I haven't listened to Armor for Sleep since college but I need to go back and give them a listen as they were excellent live. Their sound guy deserves an award for how good the mix was.

Not sure what sizes people are looking for but Walmart has a bunch of the at4w tires on sale if anyone wanted to try to get their local spot to price match

Not the ideal night and I bet you got back home pretty fast jamming when you did. The parking garage nearby took forever to exit after Ministry..even if it hadn't been for the asshole who hit my truck.

Recently had a road trip to Rochester and back...

New York Thruway rest stops are amazing!!! Brand new, Chic-fil-a, Shake Shack....

Mass Pike rest stops look like 1960's high school cafeterias...

The last rest stop in NY I stopped at looked like it was being renovated and they forgot to tell people it was closed.

I'll let you know next time Dave does a show around here. He does a few Boston shows time to time. Always a good show, not the punk shows of twenty years ago but still a great show.

My wife made a good point. She got into Dave Hause after The Loved Ones already "ended". She got me into the Hauses about early 2021 ish. She thought she'd never get to see a lot of her favorites by The Loved Ones live, because...well, they don't do it anymore. But we got to this weekend, plus seeing Tim get to join in too. That was really cool.

We'll be back in Philly next year, I have a suspicion!

Funny you say this - we go to Buffalo quite a bit and I don't like the new rest stops. They're narrow and foot traffic doesn't flow well through them. Maybe some are larger, but the ones I've been to feel way too small for the amount of people stopping there.

This company was at the Boston outdoor expo a couple weeks back. I picked up/played with a couple of their coolers and hot DAMN are they light.

    https://ruggedroadoutdoors.com/pages/about-us

Because we devloped and patented our own manufacturing process, we had to get creative to name/measure our coolers in a way that would be both accurate and easily understood. Our coolers have much thinner walls than those found in a rotomolded cooler (but don't worry, they're equally insulated!). Because of this, the exterior footprint may appear smaller to a comparable rotomodled cooler, but the interior capacity will hold nearly the same number of cans.

I am not affiliated with them at all, and haven't a clue how well insulated they are, but if they can hold up to what they say they can, this is 100% where I'd be instead of a Yeti. I'd pony up for one of these over my old ozark trails if I was replacing them, but I went with a fridge instead.

@RockfishTaco - not that Nate has a bumper, BUT Nate just went through an attempt at color matching, and got the wrong silver.[/QUOTE]

    Thanks,

I think I'm leaning towards something aftermarket and black to avoid the color matching. Problem is the flare is a little damaged as well so I'm looking for something on the cheaper and lightweight (stock suspension) side that would replace the bumper cover and the flares.

If I didn't already have a fridge and 2 coolers I'd consider it. Hard to justify it for my use case/what I already have though.

The flares are stick-on cheap plastic parts. You won't end up getting those replaced "with" a bumper, but you can replace them super easy.

Keep in mind that adding a front bumper also removes some of the metal behind it, so if you see a material weight on the bumper, your net weight gain will be less than that.

Depends on your use case. Cheap, black, looks like you can leave the hoop part off.

    https://www.amazon.com/Hooke-Road-T...37------------&vehicleName=2016+Toyota+Tacoma

Plate bumpers tend to be heavier since there's a lot of steel in them.

Or if you're just replacing the plastic, it comes black raw:
    https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=7282064&cc=3445493&pt=1344&jsn=579&optionchoice=0-0-0-1

Could probably go to a body shop and ask them to replace w/o painting, might be pretty cheap.
