I installed a Torch add a leaf on a stock 2018 trd pro. It's supposed to give 1 to 2 inches. The wheel well to the center hub is about 24" with the leaf installed.

After the install, I noticed a vibration from the u joint.

I bought a Klein magnet digital angle finder. Measure the following,

    • Rear: 1.6 deg
    • Mid: 6.1 deg
    • Front: 2.4 deg
    • Rear section rear shaft: 9.5 deg
    • Front section rear shaft: 6.4 deg
The difference between front and rear is 0.8. is this typical for such a small lift? Everything is torqued to spec.

I need a diagram of these measurements! It is confusing to me why you have five different angle measurements.

I do not wish to jump to conclusions or imply this is the correct answer, but I suspect you are on the right path here.

Pinion angle is incredibly sensitive to the ground level, the two piece drive shaft, and a whole bunch more. But as I personally understand it, you still want -1 to -3 degrees of total pinion angle.

If you are 0.8 (plus?) degrees, that is out of spec.
